Went out early at midday whilst the tide was still low. Wind started off strong and got even stronger as the session progressed. Went from being well-powered up on my 4.6 at the start to slightly overpowered by the end, but never really uncomfortable. Unfortunately the water state on the inside was quite flat for most of the session, but towards the end some reasonable sized waves were starting to roll in.

Today I was still feeling the effects of Saturday's all-nighter, so was slightly lacking in energy when on the water and not fully in the mood for it unfortunately. As a result, not the most successful or satisfying of sessions in terms of performance. A couple of big jumps towards the end when the wind really started honking was about as good as it got. Also despite always being well-powered up, I was having trouble at times with staying upwind. I'll put that down to the strong current that runs with the wind when the tide is coming in and not any deficiencies in my technique....

Another solid kip tonight and hopefully I'll be back on song again tomorrow.
